Dear All HKU Students,
Have you ever thought of working overseas? Are you longing for a chance to learn more about the world and immerse yourself into another place’s lifestyle? For the first time in recent years of AIESEC HKU, we are now recruiting students to go on our overseas internship programmes! All are welcome! Exchange is our core product and we hope that through providing this experience to more students, AIESEC can spread more positive impact in our society and allow students to broaden their horizons.
Please click “Exchange” on the bar above to learn more about our exchange programmes.
We will also hold 2 Exchange Recruitment Talks for interested students. Note that only students who attended the talks are eligible to apply for our programmes.
Please apply for our talk online through this link: http://goo.gl/9Zlvv
AND send your Curriculum Vitae to exchange@aiesechku.org, using your UID as the subject.
If we have received both information, we will send you a confirmation email.
We will also have a counter in KKL concourse on 13th – 17th February to cater for any enquiries.
See you all at the talks!
Hey AIESEC!
We are going to have our first LC mass meeting and superpass dinner this Wednesday!
If you would like to…
have loads of fun with your new AIESEC buddies,
learn more about personalities and communication styles,
update your IT skills,
and get a superpass in the upcoming exams,
don’t miss the mass meeting and superpass dinner! We look forward to seeing all of you!
On 7th November, our Executive Board members had a tea meeting at Cafe Marco (Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel) with Professor Edward K. Y. Chen, who founded AIESEC HKU – the first Local Committee in Hong Kong – in 1967. Through discussing with Professor Chen, we have gained a better insight into why our LC was founded and, more interestingly, what our LC was like at the preliminary stages.
Since the founding of AIESEC-LC-HKU in 1967, it has come to the 45th year of AIESEC’s establishment in Hong Kong. In light of celebrating the 45th anniversary of both AIESEC-LC-HKU and AIESEC Hong Kong, we have held the inauguration ceremony this year. Details of the ceremony are as follows:
Date: 4th November 2011
Time: 19:45-22:00 (Reception starts at 19:00)
Venue: Rayson Huang Theatre, The University of Hong Kong
Dress code: Formal attire
The ceremony inaugurated the new session of our Executive Board, Managers and Officers. It also marked the official launch of the celebration activities of our 45th anniversary. It was a great opportunity to mingle with our many members, alumni and partners in the networking sessions of the ceremony.
We are glad that all of our Recruitment Talks are already FULL. Nonetheless, we are going to hold the Recruitment Counter at K.K. Leung concourse for the LAST DAY on 8/9, which aims to let those who have notified us via email change their time slots, and some attendees of the Recruitment Talks on 7/9 submit their CV.
Thank you for those who have registered for our Recruitment Talks. Three out of our four sessions are already FULL! Before the Talk, we would like to provide you here with some friendly reminders.
Firstly, please be punctual and do remember to bring back the receipt for the $10 refund. Besides, since you may need to fill in and submit our Application Form at the Talk, please be reminded that you should bring a pen, as well as your CV, which will be collected with your Application Form. Also, you are strongly recommended to go through our website to acquire a brief idea of what AIESEC and, more importantly, our six departments do, so that you can make better use of the networking session before the end of the event.
We truly look forward to seeing you!
